Isn’t it great when you find something that seems destined to be yours? I feel that way about this 1950′s Miss Jane Jr. dress. It has blue lacy metallic fabric and a full skirt.
I found it at the Frisbee Resale store in Des Plaines. It looks practically brand new. They were nice enough to let me try it on and it fit perfectly! The length is even pretty good considering I am 5’9″.
I got it for $5, but they sell for $45 plus shipping on Etsy. Now I just need somewhere to wear it!

pretty!

This dress is gorgeous! An absolute steal for $5. Well done!
I know! I love finding great vintage clothes for cheaper than they were brand new. It’s definitely worth all the time spent digging.
I got the same dress from a thrift store near my home town in NW Washington state. I got it for $25.97….. I can’t wait… its gonna be amazing. I am going to wear it to my boyfriends NJROTC Navy Ball as well as my Junior Prom…. its gonna be FABULOUS…. To all those reading this article, always go vintage for your formal wear. You will find totally unique and original dresses that will wow crowds and normally save $$$ in your purses. (to be honest this dress is the most expensive dress I’ve bought.)
Have fun in your dress and I will surely swing it up in mine!
That’s awesome Anna! What a perfect dress for Prom. Have fun!!
