Now that I’ve been in my house for two years, I am doing a series of posts on all the changes I’ve made. Today I am taking a look at changes I’ve made to the office. It is actually a sewing room, but I don’t sew (yet).

Renovations

• Painted the walls in Restoration Hardware Sea Green (matched Benjamin Moore Aura paint)
• Raised light fixture so I would stop hitting my head on it

Decor

• $3 rattan chair from a garage sale with a Pier1 cushion that cost seven times as much
• Stool from my mom, used as plant stand for the plant that is always near death
• $75 magnetic Pottery Barn chalkboard from Craigslist
• N (like on Mary Tyler Moore) on clearance for $8 at Anthropologie
• Computer chair and monitor they were throwing away at work
• Rug from Home Depot
